Now I think the Visual Studio Code is a luxury and effective environment for JS coders and yes for others. BTW, after playing around, I found out the Source Control and Debugger from VS Code is another awesomeness. And I had forgotten the usage of this fantastic feature.īut it's working like a charm in Visual Studio Code and I get excited because I missed this feature after Delphi The Great. Yes, I had a problem with Go to Definition in Sublime Text, actully it doesn't work for my PHP codes in Laravel and JavaScript cods in Vue.js, React and React Native. So everything sounded great, except one to seem greater. It's obvious that Microsoft guys designed this editor from Sublime Text in majority of parts. Some shortcuts are similar Ctrl+P for file browsing and Ctrl+Shift+P for commands. It's from Microsoft, but it was free and open-source under MIT license agreement.Īfter installation at Ubuntu 18.04, looked for multi-cursor and it was exactly like Sublime Text. I love its Vintage mode, default and custom shortcuts, package manager, auto-complete and Multi-Cursor. I've used predefined and my custom code snippets to increase speed. But I'm a developer and IDE is really a big deal of matter. However I've used free and open source alternative for previous tools. No longer worry about breaking copyrights and ownership rules in software realm. I got simply adapted with these new environments and actually I liked that. It was tough hard at starting days, like a new planet for me, but time is so strange. So I started to migrate from Microsoft Windows and Delphi (my favorite programming language) after 13 years experience to Ubuntu 14.04 and PHP-Laravel (now my favorite programming language). A couple of years ago, I've decided to respect the copyrights and ban the using of cracked OS, IDE, Video Player, Photo Editor and anything else.
